That dedication to quality and craftsmanship is what’s led to our Fuhgeddaboudit Red Ale, the perfect ale to pair with your favorite dishes at Anthony’s. Fuhgeddaboudit is a fiery-red Italian-American ale crafted with a blend of European barley and English hops. Flavorful enough to balance out the intense crunch of crust, but also refined enough pair with delicate San Marzano tomato sauce. Fuhgeddaboudit is also brewed exclusively for Anthony’s and can only be found on draft at their locations.

We’ve found one of the best pairing for our red ale is the Meatballs & Ricotta pizza. The heart and soul of Anthony’s pizza starts with the crust. Dough made daily and stretched to order, the crust returns from the coal fire with beautiful char marks and harmonious flavors of the toasted malts used in the red ale. The malt-forward, caramel rich flavors in Fuhgeddaboudit also helps develop and deepen the flavors of the acidic tomato sauce and hearty meatballs. The mild herbal notes of the hops creates a bridge between the array of herbs in the pizza. In addition the beer’s carbonation and bitterness lifts the creaminess of the ricotta cheese, cleansing the palate after every bite.
