I've been in a beer whirlwind since the Riverside Beer Festival! There have been so many events to check out, from special tappings to GastroFest, I hope you've had some great brews!Let's get right to some of the cool stuff we've tried:
Founders Rubaeus ABV 5.7%. It's a pink fruit beer. It is slightly tart and full of raspberry flavor. If you don't like Fruity or tart beers, you probably won't like this one. I've been exploring them again and this is a great brew. Approved upon by both me and my sister "Chacha".
Funky Buddha More Moro ABV 7%. This American IPA contains a lot of Blood Orange. The beer pours cloudy, unfiltered. It has hops but the orange juice mellows out the harshness. I'm not a huge fan of IPA's, but this was loaded with flavor and I'd drink it again! If you are looking for a hop bomb, this is not your brew.
Funky Buddha Red Velvet Cake ABV 5.4%. I'm always amazed at how the Brewers at Funky Buddha can get food flavors into their brews. Its red, its chocolate, its creamy. It is exactly as advertised. There is enough sweetness that if you are not into sweet beers, I'd ask for a sample first!
