Funky Buddha Brewery is proud to announce The Mixology Series, its latest line of specialty barrel-aged beers. A bit about the series:
"Inspired by classic cocktails, each of these beers have been formulated with alternate fermentables, aged in wine or spirit barrels, and imbued with natural ingredients. To produce these unique beers, we've partnered with several respected wine & spirits producers."
The first to be released is Manhattan Double Rye Ale. Evoking the rye drink, we blended a double rye ale aged in High West Distillery rye barrels with a Belgian Tripel ale aged in wine barrels and then infused with herbs & botanicals. One sip up and your taste buds are sent into a reminiscent spiral of whiskey and vermouth flavors. And at 12.7% ABV, well that’s just a cherry on top.
Manhattan Double Rye Ale will be available in 12oz bottle four-packs in late February. Bottles and draft will hit retailers throughout our distribution footprint. Be the first to try this luxurious libation at our Prohibition Beer Dinner hosted in the barrel-room on February 27th.
